One sea turtle were released in Pingtung on May 6, 2017. Green turtle(Chelonia mydas) was discovered by staffs of Coast Guard Administration near Tainan. After 5-month treatment, this green turtle recovered well and ready to go home. The curved carapace length and broad are 45 cm and 38 cm. During the releasing, about 20 people were invited to this special event for distributing knowledge about sea turtles and the importance of conservation.
