One sea turtle were released in Pingtung on April 9, 2017. Green turtle(Chelonia mydas) was discovered by staffs of Coast Guard Administration near Checheng. After 5-month treatment, this green turtle recovered well and ready to go home. The curved carapace length and broad are 60 cm and 57 cm. During the releasing, about 70 people were invited to this special event for distributing knowledge about sea turtles and the importance of conservation.
