The purpose of introducing beluga to the museum is for education and research. Similar to other aquariums around the world that have belugas, we promote environmental awareness through education and research surrounding the animals. Since they are protected species, we apply for importing permission from Council of Agriculture, and exhibiting permission from Pingtung County government, before they arrived. Hi-Scene Co. summited an exhibition proposal of beluga, and was forwarded to Pingtung County government for reviewing. After the proposal was approved, then we started to exhibit the animals to the public.
